Our group, lead by outsourcing and call center guru, David Anderson has evolved to become the Near Shore Contact Center and Outsourcing industry leader in Central America offering services in Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala and Honduras as well as other countries in the region. David’s 20 years of industry experience and wide range of contacts in global technology companies including Dell, HP, Palm, Cisco, Intel, Motorola and IBM, and strong local contacts with Telco providers and infrastructure experts, has provided the resources needed to offer a wide range of consulting and development services within the Central American market.
History of The Utopia Group
The Utopia Group was founded in August of 2001 by David Anderson, the founder of the first call center in Costa Rica. The Original mission of the Utopia Group was to establish a new call center in Costa Rica.
Following the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, and with the resulting freeze in investment, Anderson and associates reinvented the business into two distinct business units, Utopia Professional Services, focussed on Call Center and Business Process Consulting, and PDA Utopia, focussed on developing wireless solutions.
